4 Day - Coastal & Mountain Adventure - 70% Gravel

Starting in Somerset West - Experience the back roads and gravel coastal tracks, along with the scenic mountain ranges and passes.

Tour Description:
Leaving Riders Store in Somerset West - the route takes us on spectacular coastal roads to the Southern Tip of Africa. We overnight at the beautiful De Hoop Nature Reserve and visit the Whale Coast and massive sand dunes in the reserve. We continue along the coastal gravel roads until we cross the Langerberg Mountain rage into the historical Attakwaskloof Pass and ride a section of the OX wagon trail from the 1800’s
The scenic gravel roads take us back through several twisted gravel passes and mountain ranges before we join the famous R62 into Montagu.
The final day takes us through the Breede River Valley winelands, over Franschhoek pass and back to Somerset West.

Technical loose gravel on day 3 from Bonniedale Farm is the only section riders must take caution.
